I have a friend at work. Male friend. He's a little ..... different? Single never been married. He can't sleep - and ends up nodding off at work sometime. I've known him from the day I started. Nice guy. He's looking for someone to go to Las Vegas with him. We some how got on the subject of travel - Las Vegas, and other places. He's got points and no one to go with. He sorta asked me if I wanted to go - just friends he said.
Yee haa... NOT so sure I am ready for that. But then again what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? And this girl needs a getaway!
Rebel's boyfriend has not paid his rent yet. He's now two months in arrears with me. First time I mentioned the rent money - I heard "I shovelled, I cleaned your whole house, I fixed your car"
I retorted, "thanks now where's the money?"
Rebel has reverted to some of her old school pre transplant atttitude. I've told her and RJ to go live with their father. Her father I don't believe wants Rebel there because she has the package deal going - and the dog. I am at the point where I am thinking it's worth paying child support to get these offspring out of my life for some peace and quiet. And change the locks on the doors while I am at it.

They are TENANTS not children...
Give them their notice and if you have access to accounts, by all means, withdraw the amount(s) owning. We (the royal we) knew this would happen before they moved in...so no big surprise.
Get your house back to zen...
They are old enough, they want to play house, let them figure it out....but get them out, nuff said.
BTW, go to Vegas and have a blast....I've travelled with male friends who are just that, friends...
More fun less stress... *wink*
friends with benefits.... my friend tried that once, (not with me) it didn't work out very well. When her divorce was final (after a long limbo separation) she was ready to step it up and he not so much. Then a year later he shows up engaged. Sudden traumatic death afterwards and well, it wasn't pretty. It all worked out in the end and she is engaged to a nice guy.
Ah well, sometimes an itch needs to get scratched
As for vegas, I think it would be a lot of fun and as long as you get on well with him already, it would be grand for both of you. And getting a jump start on spring is always great.
And def change locks.
GREAT story Rudy....what drama that must have been.
Oh indeed Lily I told the BF he was a tenant - now granted Rebel is a student and in school, so I will cut her some slack, but I told her BF to pay up - it is expected. Unfortunately, Rebel is taking umbrage. WhatEv! WHAT kind of 31 yr old lives in his girlfriend's house any way. seriously! He should be ashamed and getting on it.
what kind of 31 yo lives in his girl friend's mother's house!
Lame
EXACTLY my point... the freeloading, no shame, loser, jack ass type boyfriend Rudy I could go on.... but really why go down that road. He's going to be in one of my books. I just haven't figured out how to portray him so that Rebel doesn't recognize him totally.
Such a fine line between doing what you know is right and not pissing the daughter off. *sigh*
I wonder if she knows he is wrong but also realizes that it reflects back onto her and doesn't want to admit that she isn't making the best choices where her relationship life is concerned. Thus she takes umbrage.
I would love to see how SU would handle things if the three of them and the ragtag dog show up on his doorstep.
I hope your weekend is going well in spite of the trials.
love and hugs,
